Itinerary

Thursday - Day 1 Arrival on your own, room check-in available from 3pm (you will be sent exact instructions on how to arrive). Activities start from Friday morning.

*Transportation Package - Depart Florence/Rome with very late arrival to Munich.

Friday - Day 2 Breakfast Included. Following breakfast you’ll meet the guide for a walking tour of Prague’s incredible Old Town and Jewish Quarter.  Passing through Gothic and Art Nouveau architecture, you’ll see highlights such as the Old Town Square & Astronomical Clock, the Tyn Church, Cubist House of the Black Madonna, the Filharmonic, Rudolfinum, the Jewish Quarter & it’s Old-New Synagogue and more.  Following an afternoon break for lunch you'll take a scenic 1 hour boat cruise along Prague's Vltava River for a unique perspective of the city from the water.  At night be sure to experience a dinner at a traditional Czech tavern where you'll have hearty, and cheap, cuisine served with the fantastic, local beer. As well, there is an offered pub crawl for those that really want to experience the city's nightlife and meet other travelers from around the world (includes a power hour, stops at multiple bars and ending at a club).  For those looking for a quieter, more cultured evening Prague is renowned for its classical and live music scene with many available options each night .

Saturday - Day 3 Breakfast included. Following breakfast you'll meet the guide and cross the Charles Bridge to the Mala Strana side of the city (the “lesser district”), to the John Lennon Wall, St. Nicholas Church and up to the largest castle complex in the world, the stunning (and massive) Prague Castle & St. Vitus Cathedral, ending with a stunning view point over the city.  After some free time for lunch you'll head back to Wenceslas Square and have an included visit to the Pilsner Urquell Beer Experience to learn about this "liquid gold" known as the world's greatest pilsner, see how it's made and enjoy 3 perfectly poured Pilsner Urquell beer samples in the beer hall at the end of the tour! Free rest of afternoon & evening to explore Prague’s gothic streets, visit the city’s famous museums, go shopping or enjoy the amazing beer culture

Sunday - Day 4 Breakfast included. Following breakfast we’ll have a very early morning departure to Munich (travel time approx. 4.5 hours). Once In Munich you'll be free to head to the Oktoberfest grounds to enjoyt the festival and take in the sights, sounds... and beer!  The festival has a carnival type atmosphere with rides, amazing food stands, and of course the 14 famous beer tents each featuring live bands, lots of beer & food and holding thousands of people (the largest tent has a capacity of around 12,000 people!!).  Meet Us There Package finishes here (we recommend booking several add-on nights in Munich so that you can enjoy the Oktoberfest - email us if you need accommodations in Munich).

**Transportation Package - Mid-afternoon (approx. 3pm) departure back to Florence/Rome with very late evening arrival time.

***Trip Style - This is an independent trip ideal for groups of friends, family, couples, or even for an independent-minded solo traveler. It is designed as a travel & destination package, not solely as a "group trip". You will be on group tours/activities with other travelers and in a room with other travelers if you book the "shared dorm hostel" package (if you book the "private" room package then you of course will be in your own private room). You will however, have independent time between the guided group tours/activities to explore on your own and do as you please, and will receive a detailed info packet by email with numerous recommendations for additional group activities or tours (beyond what is included), sights/museums and food/drink/nightlife info, etc. It's a great balance between guided & included tours/activities and free time so that you have plenty of time on your own to do what you want.
