shaun hoffmanWhile traveling as a student, as well as planning trips for students, I learned that too much time is wasted on the internet or at travel agencies researching (and hoping for the best with your choice) destinations, trains, flights, hotels, etc... and in the end not really knowing what you'll get and often spending way too much money and precious time in the process.

I have backpacked and lived in Europe now for over ten years, spending two years as Gonzaga-in-Florence's travel coordinator, and now am on my tenth year planning and leading trips independently. I know what it's like to be a student having to balance an academic schedule as well as a travel schedule into one packed semester.

At Euroadventures we take care of your travel needs with private bus, hotel and an activities guide so you don't have to waste your valuable time on the internet or at a travel agency researching ways or places to travel only then to find yourself wandering outside a train station in the middle of the night looking for your hotel or transferring to and from an expensive out of the way airport on a so-called "discount airline".

We travel in private buses and take you directly to your hotel doorstep therefore making it the fastest and most comfortable way to travel Europe during your semester abroad.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I get my trip for free?

Organize a group! If you want to get a free trip or at least a discount then spread the word about your desired trip(s) and contact shaun@euroadventures.com with the names of the people in your group. Once we receive 10+ reservations from your group you get a free trip! *(Your list of names must be sent to us BEFORE they make their reservation)

Are there group discounts available?

YES! All groups of 25+ will receive a 20euro discount per person for that trip. Simply send us the list of names in the group and we will credit the 20euro back to each person after the reservation is made.

Do I have to be with the group the whole weekend?

Not at all. If you want to use us for simply the transportation and accommodations (or just transportation) that is totally fine. Our guides are very knowledgeable and will provide tours/activities, but we also understand that some people want to do their own thing which is totally cool -- after all, it’s your weekend!

Why aren’t activities included in the price of the trip?

To keep our prices low. Some students do not partake in all of the activities so we feel it’s not fair to have them pay a higher price for things they won’t be participating in. We also feel it’s best to give our customers freedom to do as they please throughout the weekend instead of having a constant and mandatory schedule. There are always activities and excursions offered by the Euroadventures guides and you’re free to pick and choose what you’d like to participate on. As well, you can choose to do your own thing the entire trip and never see the group or guide the entire time.

Can anybody go on a Euroadventures trip (non-students)?

Though the majority of our customers are American study-abroad students, everybody is welcome on any Euroadventures trip. We often times will have backpackers or travelers taking one-way trips with us, and even friends and family of study-abroad students joining us.

I have my own accommodations. Can I do transportation only?

Yes! On all of our trips, you can book a ‘Transportation Only’ package. This is designed for those who already have accommodations of their own and only need transportation there and back. Of course, even if you have your own place to stay, you’re still more than welcome to join the group for any activities and excursions.

Can I take just a one-way trip with Euroadventures?

Yes! If you want to ride one-way with us and stay with the group for the trip and then continue on your own when the trip is finished that is totally possible. As well, you can always join us for just a one-way ride to or from a destination/departure city. Please email us for details and prices.

What are the general details about a trip with Euroadventures?

*All trips include round trip bus (and/or boat), specified number of nights accommodation and an experienced and knowledgeable activities guide to help make the most of your trip.
  • No more hassling with trains...or train strikes.
  • No more hassles with discount airlines only to have flights cancelled, lengthy layovers or expensive out of the way airports to travel to and from.
  • Ride in a luxurious private bus directly to the doorstep of your hotel.
  • No time spent waiting in line at the train station, airport or travel agency.
  • Time flies when you're watching up to date English movies on the bus.
  • You always get to stay in a room with your friends.
* Buses depart every Thursday at the following times:
  • 6:30-7:30 PM from Florence
  • 5:00-5:30pm from Rome
  • 6:00-6:30pm from Barcelona
  • from Prague (times vary – please see specific destination pages for exact details)

* Trips to Greece and Croatia depart at 9am and 3pm respectively

* Departure times for day trips and fall & spring break trips vary -please see specific destination pages for exact details All buses depart from the city centers (in a specified bus area near the main train stations – you receive exact details when you book your trip)

* We then depart each destination on Sunday afternoon to arrive back in Florence, Rome, Barcelona & Prague late Sunday evening (see specific destination page for more specific arrival info)

* Travel time for all trips is about 6 to 8.5 hours each way, depending on the destination (stops for food and bathroom included). Several trips like Prague, Barcelona, Florence, Budapest, and Vienna are overnight. Please see the specific destination pages for exact travel times.
