Prague & Munich Oktoberfest combo weekend!  A chance to enjoy two of the most beautiful, historic and largest beer consuming places on the planet in one weekend, and the world famous OKTOBERFEST!!

Prague - The golden city, incredible architecture and sights, Charles bridge, Prague castle (the largest in the world), the ancient Jewish quarter, Easter European prices, Starbucks and other western food chains, wild nightlife & Czech Beer (pints for $1). Surely one of the most intriguing cities in the world as well as one of the most exciting in Europe, Prague is a trip not to be missed!

Munich - The land of lederhosen, pretzels and beer – and OKTOBERFEST

Itinerary

Thursday - Day 1 Depart Florence/Rome via luxury coach w/DVD movies for overnight ride to Prague. Stops for dinner/bathroom along the way.

*Fly-in package arrival on your own to Prague with check-in available from 3pm (you will be sent exact instructions on how to arrive). Activities start from Friday morning when the bus group arrives.

Friday - Day 2 Morning arrival to hostel, drop bags and have a little time to get some food and freshen up followed by a city walk of Prague’s top sights with stops such as the Charles Bridge, John Lennon Wall, the Prague Castle, the Jewish quarter, Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square. At night we will head out to the lively (and cheap) bars/clubs, all located around the amazing historic city center, and a pub crawl will be offered.

Saturday - Day 3 Breakfast included. Free day to explore Prague’s gothic streets. Check out the famous art museums or hit up some of the more novelty sights such as the famous “Torture Museum”, go shopping or enjoy Prague’s amazing food & pub culture (local “Hospadas”). Hit the shopping district and then grab one of the many delicious Czech street snacks, mulled wine, or beer.  At night head back out to experience some of the best European nightlife you will find (at a ¼ of the price of other major European cities!).

Sunday - Day 4 Breakfast included. Following breakfast we’ll have a very early morning departure to Munich (travel time approx. 4.5 hours). In Munich we'll stop near the Oktoberfest grounds so we can head straight to the festival and take in the sights, sounds... and beer!  You'll have several hours to explore the carnival type atmosphere with rides, amazing food stands, and of course the 14 famous beer tents each featuring live bands, lots of beer & food and holding thousands of people (the largest tent has a capacity of around 12,000 people!!).  Departure in the afternoon to return back to Florence/Rome with very late night arrival.

*Fly-in package departure on your own.
