We will be staying in the sun-drenched Riviera capital of Nice, where beautiful people come to enjoy the beachlife and nightlife along the Promenade des Anglais in the old town.

Head to the celebrity hotspot of Cannes to see and be seen. Cannes has a several mile long beach-front promenade and one of the Mediterranean's best golden sand beaches.

The ritzy glamour of Monte Carlo is next door to Nice. Gamble at the casino, hike in the hills, or marvel at the yachts and sports cars that line the marina and streets and the rich & famous that parade themselves around the casino.

Enjoy French wine and local cuisine, especially the outstanding seafood offered here.

First-class shopping opportunities abound Nice, Monte Carlo, and Cannes.

Visit the former Roman city and home to Van Gogh, Arles, as well as the historic, former papal city of Avignon.

We will be staying in a budget hotel in the center of Nice with great shopping and restaurants around the hotel. The train station is a several minute walk away for easy excursions to all the surrounding locales of the French Riviera.

The beach and all the great nightlife in Nice's old town is just a 10 minute walk from the door of the hotel!

The French Riviera receives over 300 days of sun a year and usually is still warm even in February!!

The February trips will be during one of Europe's biggest Carnival/Mardi Gras celebrations in Nice, France when the city comes alive with parades, parties and live music!

Departure from Nice on Sunday will be at approx. 4pm and we will drive along the famous Grande Corniche and make a stop in the ancient hilltop village of Eze and its famous perfume factory.

All Spring Semester trips will depart from Florence at approx. 7:30pm and arrive into Nice at approx. 1:30am. We will depart from Nice on Sunday afternoon and arrive back into Florence at approx. 11pm.

All Spring Semester trips from Rome will depart at approx. 5:00-5:30pm on Thursday evening with arrival to our hotel in Nice at approx. 2:30am. We will arrive back into Rome on Sunday evening at approx. 1:30am.
